Privacy Policy

PageRadar ("we") monitors web pages you choose and notifies you when they change. This policy describes what we collect, why, who else processes it, and how long we keep it. Questions: hello@pageradar.app.

Data we collect

• Account data — your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) the name and profile picture Google returns. We use passwordless sign-in: we never receive or store a password.
• Monitoring data— the URLs you add, your check settings, and snapshots of the public content of those pages together with the computed diffs. Snapshots are fetched by our own crawler from your monitored sites; do not point PageRadar at pages containing other people's personal data you are not allowed to process.
• Notification settings — your Telegram chat id or bot token and your Slack webhook URL, if you connect those channels. Both are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used only to deliver your alerts.
• Billing data— your plan, subscription state and payment events. Card details are entered on Polar's checkout, never on PageRadar; we never see or store them.
• Product analytics — anonymous device and session identifiers plus page views and in-app events, so we can see which parts of the product are used.
• Attribution cookies — acq_src (traffic source, kept 30 days) and acq_gclid (Google Ads click id, kept 90 days). They are first-party cookies set on your first visit and let us tell which campaign a signup came from. A session cookie is also set once you sign in; it is required for the app to work.
• Operational logs — request and error traces used to keep the service running.

Why we process it

To provide the service you asked for (monitoring, diffs, notifications), to bill paid plans, to keep the service secure and reliable, and to measure how the product and our advertising perform. We do not sell your data and we do not use your monitoring content for anything other than producing your own diffs and alerts.

Processors we use

• Polar — payments and subscription management.
• Resend — sign-in and notification emails.
• Telegram and Slack — alert delivery, only for channels you connect.
• Google Ads — we report the fact of a purchase back against the click id stored at signup, so campaign bidding can optimise for paying customers.
• OpenRouter — an AI model that classifies whether a detected diff is meaningful. It receives the changed text fragments of the pages you monitor.
• Our own hosting and self-hosted analytics on servers in the EU.

How long we keep it

Snapshots and change history are kept for the retention window of your plan: 30 days on Free, 90 days on Basic, 365 days on Pro, and for as long as the monitor exists on Business. Older records are deleted automatically. Account and billing records are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Deleting a monitor deletes its snapshots and change history. To delete your whole account, or to exercise any other right you have under the GDPR or comparable law, write to hello@pageradar.app and we will act within 30 days.

Children

PageRadar is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
